If you are looking at a Pro-4000 I would inquire about the ink set shipped from who you purchase from. Keith Cooper has fantastic write ups, one on the Pro-2000,4000 as well. Status of that is approved but waiting for arrival. I was very pleased one is able to fill that out online with attaching the receipt file. I have a few rolls due to arrive today so looking forward to that experience.Ĭanon has a rebate in the USA currently for $300. I have only printed from a sample pack of paper from Breathing Color and have some rolls due to arrive today.
But after all of that was figured out with help here on this forum and LL I am up and running. Installing the Print studio pro plug in for LR classic CC gave me issue too. Then getting XPS which allows the printer to accept images files greater than 8bit. It did take some time to learn how to fully get Breathing Color AM1x media settings on both the printer and lightroom classic cc. I was up and running pretty quick to use canon papers. The printer itself I am very pleased with so far. Very happy with the timely replies and action taken. I wrote an e-mail to ITsupplies and they quickly replied it must be older inventory and they contacted Canon on my behalf and a full set of 160ml inks arrived for a total of 350ml of ink. Īll other online retailers showed 190ml, which is what mine came with. Now looking on Canon's web site they show it shipping with 300ml starter set. On to the inks as it was the big reason I chose to order from ITsupplies. Two of us handled carrying the printer just fine but it's place in the home is up stairs which required 3 of us to lift on end as it has a tight corner, rest was easy. I asked they have a pallet jack to get into the garage and they obliged. The shipper was great, called to arrange delivery day and time frame. it arrived at my home via tractor-trailer (semi). I reached out to ITsupplies before ordering and they confirmed 330ml ink set so I made the purchase. Their listing stated ships with 330ml ink tanks Other online retailers state ships with 190ml tanks. I ordered a Pro-4000 from and happy to report a great experience.
